Soliciting e-commerce developers to convert their projects to MODx

I just came across this article...

I really hadn’t heard of them. I am more familiar with names like zen-cart, open-cart, magneto, etc. But I thought maybe these smaller groups might be open to converting their code to MODx. Since they are Wordpress plug-ins, it might be easier to convert them to MODx.

What do you think? Should we start asking them to have a look at new market? Anyone have experience with any of them before? Maybe we could pick one and get a bounty together to fund the conversion.
