LemonStand Beta January 11 - Might Work Well in Concert with MODx

Having used OS Commerce, FoxyCart, and Prestashop with a variety of MODx based sites I’ve been keeping my eyes on LemonStand. It looks very promising.

Public Beta is being released January 11. I’ll be seeing (and the programmers I know) how well it can integrate with a MODx site. It seems from the outside, and trying the demo, to be a well structured, less rigid solution.

I am lucky enough to be an alpha tester for it - mostly an ideas and UI man. It has a very good CMS built in already and that based on the whole tag based framework - very similar to modx calls. You have complete control over the front end, again like our beloved Modx.

The admin section and the way updates are done are a dream to use. It will be the app to watch for and use for ecommerce sites this year. This is how I would of hoped Revos backend/manager UI would function/look/feel.
