    Ok, looked over the documentation.
Still confused about what format to put my current content into.

Have existing website with 300 pags of static html content.
Have created a standard css stylesheet with 3 columns to freshen up appearance of pages and add more dynamic features.
Have articles which are about 300 - 600 words each. Want to have where readers can view first 50-100 words, then register to read all the content.
What format do I need my current html in to prepare it for working with modx?
In other words, do I need to take out all coding and just have straight text for each article and put in individual text files, or one mysql database, and refer to it via content tags? or just manually copy each article to where it needs to be?
Any examples or screenshots of this anywhere for how this is done for those with existing websites with content wanting to start using modx?

This is a mostly undocumented process, but is discussed here http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,1423.msg18274.html#msg18274
