Classified Ads Integration (paying) - suggestions? advice?

A client wants to set up option for users to post (and pay for) Classified Ads, and although I’m sure there is a neat little piece o’ MODx to do the job, I’m not sure what it is and would welcome suggestions.

I’d like to do this as simply as possible, but also as efficiently as possible (do I need to add "as easily as possible"?!)

Would greatly appreciate any advice, suggestions, etc.- I’ll be starting from scratch on this one.

No module involved. Just Ditto.

Sorry, I am still new to modx, will study what is Ditto later. I used Joomla and Ditto before.

If I plan to use modx just for blog that suppose have all Wordpress features, is that Revolution Beta 4 is good then enough? I don’t want to learn Evolution and later have to learn again Revolution just for blogging.

Please advise.

Can you tell me what your classified ad setup "does"? For instance, does it drop the ad at a specified date?

As I wrote, it is "simplified" as I am not an expert in PHP.
However, this demo site of mine [http://www.webke.net/class/] does everything you would want and more. Unfortunately it is not a MODx site. I had to use the power of Drupal to circumvent my short comings with PHP.
