AjaxSearch stripInput usage

    Hello,
    I need to filter out some characters like ’[’ ’]’ from the search text as they create problem. What is the best way to go about it? Does anyone has an example on how to use the StripInput function. I’m planning on using AjaxSearch 1.9.2
