If I use a simple call like [!AjaxSearch? &ajaxSearch=`0`!]it should display a search box. On some pages it does show up a seach box but on other pages it stops the page from loading (while I preview) resulting in a blank page. Please suggest. ( I am using modx evo 1.0.4)

You need to examine your resources and figure out what’s different about the ones that do work and those that don’t. Are you sure it’s the AjaxSearch snippet that’s causing the failure?
I don’t see any difference in the settings of the resources and yes it is only ajaxsearch which doesn’t allow the page to load because once I remove the call to ajaxsearch snippet the page behaves normally. Can you suggest what could be those settings which may cause such differences.
