ajaxSearch and odd characters

Hello,

Not sure how to remove this but I am receiving some odd characters " " at the top of my livesearch results just inside the <div id="current-search-results" style="display: block;">

any ideas?

But the better way to solve is to download the last ajaxSearch 1.8.5 from the repository. This release fix this character issue and some others. Download it from http://modxcms.com/extras/package/?package=8

OK well I tried both re-downloading it from here http://modxcms.com/extras/download/1193/1309 and uploaded over top of the old (even removed the old and put it the new) cleared my cache and MODx cache and yet it still there? I even manually re-saved all the template files

P.S. the link you provide from the repository goes to the other article not to the repository?

Hmm ok odd I removed the whole folder and then put the new one back in and that fixed it

I have corrected the link to the repository in my previous post.
For the update of the snippet, replace the snippet folder is not enought, you need to replace the content of the snippet in the manager/elements/snippets too. For this use the content of the file assets/ajaxSearch/snippet.ajaxSearch.txt But you probably already did it too.
