Search returning unparsed content

I see placeholders and snippet calls shown in my search result. Is there a setting that would search the parsed content?

Depends a lot on what you’re using to search. Any more info on this? Are you using a Snippet? Which one? etc.

I just started playing with the aaxsearch
for now I’m using just this, I’ll play around with dressing it up later

it didn’t work, I also tried installing AjaxSearch 1.9, but that didn’t help


I’ve also found that searching for "item" gives me a lot of these
"&tpl either does not contain any placeholders or is an invalid chunk name, code block, or filename. Please check it." this is from a page with a ditto call, same as the other pages that were causing problems

in the ajaxSearch snippet file in the manager, try to replace the line 412:
by:

I’m finding that using ditto is causing these errors. I don’t think it was PHx, and if if PHx was causing errors, than I haven’t gotten to those yet

anyway, I am using the ajaxsearch to only search a smaller set of documents that don’t use ditto calls. For now that will do the trick, but I suspect I’ll be revisiting this issue.

I will give this solution a try then
