how to enable extract highlighting and DIS-able the ?searched= link??

I want the extracts highlighted in the search results but I don’t want the long ?searched etc. appended to the results link.

For example instead of:

http://foo/dev_modx/install-success?searched=test&advsearch=oneword&highlight=ajaxSearch_highlight+ajaxSearch_highlight1

I want:

http://foo/dev_modx/install-success

where http://foo/dev_modx/install-success is the link to the found page and this is all I want in the results link...

I found it...sort of.

The extract remains highlighted, the ugly URL is still created.

At least the page itself is no longer highlighted, which is what I wanted the most.

It took over 1/2 hour looking through the forum to figure out disabling the plugin affects the highlighting.
