AjaxSearch display incorrect in Internet Explorer

In Firefox all is well. In Internet Explorer i have a black box under the area where the user enters his search string. Also the bottom of the search button is cut off. (see attachment)

OK - i found the problem. The problem is that i was using Firefox simulating I.E. which is usually pretty accurate. When i switched to the real I.E. the problem goes away.
