I have an AjaxSearch menu set up- when I go a page linked to in the search results, and then from that page, click the Back button in the browser, instead of going back to the previous page it shows up an error page - "Webpage has expired" is the text.
This is followed by:
"Most likely cause:
The local copy of this webpage is out of date, and the website requires that you download it again."
Any idea how this can be fixed?
This is often browser dependant. As a first step, clear your temporary internet files from your browser history.
No, I’ve tried completely deleting the cache and it always fails regardless.
Interesingly it works fine in Firefox but always fails in IE.
Is there a fix for this?
I found a thread where someone had the same problem but the code that was suggested to be replaced in the AjaxSearch snippet doesn’t exist in mine (which is version 1.8.3).
I tried replacing POST with GET in the following files:
The layout.tpl.html inside the SimpleSearch folder
and
/classes/ajaxSearch.class.inc.php
However this only had the effect of making the search results disappear entirely from the search results page.
I have the same problem on Windows with IE 6 and IE 7, but it OK for FireFox and Opera. No problem on a Mac with all browsers.
Did some one find the answer to this problem?
