AjaxSearch Templates/ chunks/ css: where can info be found?

I have looked all over everywhere and can find no basic info on the use of templates, which I gather should be used in order to style input area/output page results? If really not present, it would be of real use to non-geeks like me. I’ve styled what I can on the input/search box area, and search is working as I want, but I’d really like to style the output page, plus the search results below input box.

Can someone give a brief overview re: templates/chunks as relate to AS CSS? (Maybe this could also be added to the AS Wiki, for other N-Gs like me?) If such does exist, I sure would be glad to be pointed to it.

The AjaxSearch snippet’s code is heavily commented in the beginning, where all the parameters, templates, and css parameters are set.

You can also look at your browser’s View Source and see how the AjaxSearch elements are structured, and what IDs and classnames they have, then adjust your .css file accordingly.

Thank you very much, Sottwell! I read through all this once, but didn’t catch these (or find them in the Wiki), and even so it might have been before I understood how AjaxSearch works (in my very minimal way )
