Parse error and AjaxSearch

Hello I have MODx up and running well. I have pretty much everything but the search gives me problems with Parse Error any suggestions on what should I do? I have read the webpage about AjaxSearch tried every example but if I use the non Ajax syntax it does not give me any results if I use the Ajax syntax it takes forever and then it will spill out an error of Parse error

Could you post your AjaxSearch snippet calls.

Not the content of the snippet. But the AjaxSearch calls done on your pages (input form page and results page). Something like [!AjaxSearch? &ajaxSearch=`0` ...

As your mySql version is 5.0.58. This is probably the reason of your Mysql error.

To test it and as workaround use &whereSearch=`content` in your snippet calls, instead of the default values (&whereSearch=`content,tv`). But with this workaround you loose the search inside tvs.

Thanks but still no luck I tried to call [!AjaxSearch? !] but and in the snipped I tried whereSearch=`content` and &whereSearch=`content` (this one does not show anything in the page) the whereSearch=`content` does give me a

What do you mean, when you say: in the snipped I tried whereSearch=`content` ?

on the page where the input form is, you should have: [!AjaxSearch? &ajaxSearch=`0` &AS_landing=`xx` &whereSearch=`content`!]

On your landing page (or results page) with id = "xx" you should have an AjaxSearch snippet call like:
[!AjaxSearch? &ajaxSearch=`0` &AS_showForm=`0` &whereSearch=`content`!]

ok I got further now. [!AjaxSearch? &ajaxSearch=`0` &whereSearch=`content` !] this works if I add the landing it crashes with parse error. So you may have a suggestion since I have this on my template in the left div and I want to have the results show in the right portion because of the div but if I add the landing page it does not work as I just said. Thanks for the help.

Your issue is above all, a mysql issue. So could you first test this first sql request with phpmyadmin (equivalent to &whereSearch=`content,tv`:and then this simplified sql request (&whereSearch=`content`):Let me know the two results.
