I work for a large organization which uses Modx for it’s website, I’m not the web designer, but am developing some pages our department will use. I have only been given rights to create and add pages within our area, and can’t access anything on the resources tab.
The website has AjaxSearch 1.6 installed, which I’m trying to use to create a page that will search only the content on my little branch of the tree. Looking at the documentation, it seems I need to use &parents to specify which children get searched, however someone else on the forums pointed out that that parameter might not be in 1.6.
Was there a different name for this parameter in version 1.6? Is there any way I can get AjaxSearch to return results only to the pages I’ve created without upgrading to the new version?
In the pages you don’t want searched, simply go to the "Page Settings" tab, and uncheck "Searchable".

He can’t. He only has permission to the files in his own section of the Document Tree.
