menus like on modxcms

hi!

how can i realize a menu like on modxcms.com documentations? i want to get a top navigation for the parental elements and a child-navigation for the active child elements?

how can I set , that only the selected child-folder is shown?

for example the following structure:

top navigation: blog, sports, ...

if blog is selected, the only visible structure are the child elements of "blog": private, www, ...

if sports is selected, you can´t see another structure than the childs of "sports": martial arts, trainings, ...

the way it shows the whole structure (of the parent element) and doesn´t change by selecting a child element?

If you look in the sourcecode you see that every child is there, even at the first documentation level. The rest is done via CSS. Look here for explanation:

is almost perfect

my problem is, that i want to see the full structure of the child elements.

But then, if you click a child, the parents are gone (I guess). Is it that what you want to have? Or could you describe more precisely (with example) what you want to have?

I think its good to make a illustration of what you want to accomplish!
