Results on news page

Hey guys.

I want my seach form to be on my template inside an div below my menu. However! i want my search results to appear on a new page, inside the content.

With: &AS_landing=`75` i get the results on page 75, but not in the pages content.

A question regarding styling though, if you got some time to spare:
I want to place a text in front of the search box like "search the website:", only it’s in Danish and not English, so some special letters get messed up if i type inside the layout.tpl.html... guess i can make it work by using UTF-8 Unicode Character Sets, just want to know if there’s another way?

This is the correct way to do this. Add your text in the layout.tpl.html and save this file as UTF-8.

Actually i just copyed the layout.tpl and made a chunk.... just found this " &tplLayout ", that way charset is not messed up.

Look at this post. Kleist has provided a 1.8.1 danish language file.

If you use the release 1.8.2 version rather 1.8.1, translate the lang file of 1.8.2 release. Then a donation is welcome

I’m having some problems with displaying danish letters in search results!

My database is "iso-8859-1"

Also (no biggie) but when i login/out with WebLoginPE, while having just done a search, the search results are wiped, is this fixable?

And which Page charset do yo use ? UTF-8 or ISO-8859-1 ?

Without an url of a live site, It is not easy to do understand what could be your issue.

I have actually already looked at that post. I tryed to comment out the line as suggested, but it doesn’t change anything for me.
