Ajax search results - unwanted characters

Hi folks

I have the new ajax search results and lots of unwanted characters

I know form previous experiences that this was usually solved with a UTF-8 statement.
I use UTF-8 as my default MODx setup and also have stated that in my test snippet call but it has not solved the problem.

Can anyone suggest anything else to sort this out.

I think it is not reading a   html character correctly.

If someone can help ’shine a light’ it’d be gratefully recieved my site is almost ready to go and I would like to iron this one out prior to release.

Do you speak of the version 1.8.2 of AjaxSearch ? Do you use the non-ajax mode or the ajax mode ?

and lots of unwanted characters
