Search Highlighting Plugin error update?

I know this has been mentioned before...

I took a new site live today and the w3c validator could not perform its duty and tossed a 500 server error at me.

The course I took to fix this was adding a missing semicolon in the Search Highlighting plugin (modx-0.9.6.3.)

The line

$highlight = strip_tags(urldecode($_REQUEST['highlight']))

is missing the semicolon at the end. Doing so fixed the 500 server error and I could resume validating my pages.

Just wondering if this issue was "on the radar..." ?

Not on the radar because, i can’t reproduce this issue.

When I download the release 0.9.6.3 and check the file install/plugin.searchhighlight.tpl I have a semi-column at the end of the line.

Same thing for the file snippets/ajaxSearch/plugin.searchHighlight.tpl file.

Same here, in the 0963 release I also get the ;

Thats odd. I may have goofed and mislabeled an older version of the archive. I will download a fresh copy.

This makes sense as I thought this issues was put to bed already...
