I am running a linux server with CentOS 5.2 and MySQL 5.0.58 and MODx 0.9.6.3. I have created a new website and want to make it possible that my visitors can search the site. I implemented ajaxsearch but i get MODx parse errors and more specific "Execution of a query to the database failed - Lost connection to MySQL server during query". Took a look in the log(it looks like a bug) and searched the forums but can’t find anyone having the same problem. Does anyone here recognise this problem and is it realy a bug in mysql or am I doing something wrong. I followed the instructions in the wiki for ajaxsearch. This is what i did.
1. created a search page which got the id 14 and the following snippet call [!AjaxSearch? &ajaxSearch=`0` &AS_showForm=`0`!]
2. in the template [!AjaxSearch? &moreResultsPage=`14` &showMoreResults=`1`!]
Anybody any idea’s?
