    Hi,

In thread http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,695.0.html is a discussion about recoding (basically reprograming) the Manager into XHTML+CSS-Frames code. It promises good things, but the post are little bit outdated now.

I just want to ask if there are some things moving on now. The reason is, that it the edit forms etc will be recoded, there is little or no reason to waste time repairing some bugs now. For now, I want to fix a broken table that creates form structure in ’System configuration’ - some <td>s and <tr>s are badly opened/closed/placed. Second pain for me is some problem with snippet ’Default Properties’ input - I’ll post this to Bugs.

So - should these minor bugs be fixed one at a time or are there some big things going on now?

I believe there will be a major overhaul on the backend. As far as I know, it will be released on 0.9.5 or the next release.

There is no task stating about manager overhaul yet, but it will be overhauled for sure. I can guarantee you 100% wink

      • It definitely is going to get completely overhauled at some point in the future, but for now we’re stuck with frames. I don’t know where it’ll fall in the priority line...
