I have the wish to build a collaborative book with MODx.
    Wishlist (http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,3340.0.html)

As I don’t code much more than HTML, I’m not sure if it makes sense. Here is the way I see it.

    Book:
    Description:
Folder where all pages are placed
    How:
Newslisting with next and previous links, and page list. Organisation like http://modxcms.com/Designing-the-MODx-Weblog.html
    ToDo:
    Nothing.

    Book menu:
    Description:
Menu to navigate into the book, a table of contents.
    How:
    DropMenu
    ToDo:
    Nothing.

    Posting:
    Description:
    Feed the book
    How:
    NewsPublisher
    NewsEditer
    ToDo:
add MenuIndex and Parent document options in NewsEditer and NewsPublisher forms
apply web user restrictions ( huh)

    Print the book:
    Description:
link to print the content of the entire book without CSS
    How:
Get in the database all pages that are placed under the book folder using a php link and render it into a template chunk ( huh)
Place a print link into all the book pages ( huh a TV?)
    Todo:
    Get all pages...
    Place a print link...

      at the edge of dawn,
you ask yourself if your shadow did follow you down
      all night long
