The problem was discovered on a live site with real content. Sometimes text is found, sometimes not. It depends on the exact search string and we haven’t been able to spot a pattern yet in whether a request succeeds or fails.
I’m posting this for info as requested by one of the coders/maintainers of AjaxSearch - I am not after a ’fix’ as the way the site is searched likely to be changed anyway.
