AjaxSearch - JQuery - Mootools 1.2.1

    The next version of AjaxSearch (1.8.2 currently in development) will run with mootools 1.11 but also with JQuery or mootools 1.2.1
    I have done some tests with FF 2.0 and IE 6 but I need some help to test other browsers like Safari, Chrome, IE7, FF3, ...

    So thanks to run the demos with JQuery and mootools 1.2.1. Give me your feedback on this post with some information like : browser name/version OK / KO with js error or wrong behavior. The demos Base and LiveSearch are those to test in priority.

      works nicely with XP Home Edition, Service Pack 2 in Chrome 1.0.154.43 and FireFox 3.0.5.

        hello,

        i really like to test AjaxSearch 1.8.2,
        because i have problems with 1.8.1 on a page using Mootools 1.2 for animating other parts of the page.
        (and i have to set ajaxSearch to 0 just for it.)

        please, any news ?

          I tested all the JQ demos on FF3 OSx and had no problems. Very nice. The only thing is that the comments box lags a little on the first search but nothing too irritating (that is a cool feature by the way). I also like the search logs, very cool.

            Works fine in Google Chrome and safari on win vista

              One thing: in livesearch the shrinking/growing results while adding a new letter is a bit strange. The results should stay open in my opinion.

                    Firefox, WinXP / Safari, OSX 10.5 - Mootools 1.2 Demo, JQuery too

                    The Div shrinks to an empty box and grows after that with the new results. In my opinion it should stay open and shrink/grow only to display all of the new results - maybe with fading text.

                      Is this behaviour observed by other persons ?

                      The behaviour described by jako could be due to a temporary overload of my hosted server or/and a problem of speed of your broadband access. So I would like a confirmation from other persons about this behaviour.
