AJAX search using a URL POST/GET

Hi,

Need help with something probably someone else already hit:
i am looking for a simple way to search AJAX search engine using a URL.
i heard that is it doable using POST/GET parameters.

appreciate if one of you can give me a good pointer for a HOWTO.

one more thing to finish with this subject: is it possible to make it hit "enter" with the request?
in another words: the search engine gets the search string from the URL in a new window (wonderful) but it stays there... wait for the user to press "go" in order to launch the search. i would like to do it all at once. possible?

Simply add AS_showForm=`0` in the AjaxSearch snippet call of your landing page.

Find a demo with the future 1.8.2 release about this topic: AjaxSearch with a link. It works also with the 1.8.1 release.
