Ajax mode in IE 6

I can’t get the ajaxmode to work with IE6... it just refreshes the page with no results... i want it to do the funky ajaxmode like how it should. It works in IE 7 and other browsers but in IE6 nothing works. If i use the &ajaxmode=`1` it still won’t work in IE. `0` makes it work in the non ajax mode.

Have you any javascript error ?
I use FF2.0 and IE6.0 and I have no error. Have you the same kind of issue with the ajaxSearch demo site ?
