AjaxSearch - how to display more results in same page

How can one use the current page to display more results? I have an AjaxSearch snippet in my left margin. The initial results display nicely in that margin. When the user clicks on show all results, I would like to have those results also displayed in the margin rather than directing to another page. I tried &moreResultsPage=`[*id*]` but that didn’t work. How do I do this? Thanks - John
