    Hi everybody.

I got a problem. When I try to install MODx 0.9.1 the install.php recalls itself without ending. It seems the code to check whether the session was set already or not does not work, or the session itself is not initiated. When I umcommented that block, the installtion wizard would work, but it would never reach the end...

The System I’m trying to run modx on:

    Apache 1.3 on a SuSe - Server
    PHP 4.0.4pl1
    MySQL 3.23.30

    My OS and browser settings:

    Windows XP
    Firefox 1.5 and IE 6

Is it possible, that the PHP installation is too old to be used with modx or does anyone of you have a solution, or at least an idea?

    • That is an unsupported PHP version. Please try to use 4.3.10 or above.

        Okay, I thought so...

It would be nice to have these minimum requirements in the documentation somewhere...
