These you can define with snippet parameters:
// separator used in the comma-separated lists
$hyperSeparator = isset($hyperSeparator) ? $hyperSeparator : ',';
// name of the chunk containing the stopwords
$hyperChunk = isset($hyperChunk) ? $hyperChunk : 'StopWordList';
// Allow searching by templates
$templateSearch = isset($templateSearch) ? $templateSearch : '';
// Indicates whether we exclude or include the templates list
$templateSearchMode = isset($templateSearchMode) ? $templateSearchMode : 1;
// Allow parent categories to be searched in
$parentSearch = isset($parentSearch) ? $parentSearch : '';
// Indicates whether we exclude or include the parent categories list
$parentSearchMode = isset($parentSearchMode) ? $parentSearchMode : 1;
// Allow searching by documentgroups
$documentgroupSearch = isset($documentgroupSearch) ? $documentgroupSearch : '';
// Indicates whether we exclude or include the documentgroups list
$documentgroupSearchMode = isset($documentgroupSearchMode) ? $documentgroupSearchMode : 1;
// Allow searching by webgroups
$webgroupSearch = isset($webgroupSearch) ? $webgroupSearch : '';
// Indicates whether we exclude or include the webgroups list
$webgroupSearchMode = isset($webgroupSearchMode) ? $webgroupSearchMode : 1;
// Do we show the total extracts characters count or not ?
$showExtractCharCount = isset($showExtractCharCount) ? (bool) $showExtractCharCount : true;
// establish whether to show the form or not
$showSearchWithResults = (isset($FSF_showForm))? $FSF_showForm : $showSearchWithResults;
// establish whether to show the results or not
$showResults = (isset($FSF_showResults))? $FSF_showResults : true;
// establish results page
$FSF_landing
what is inside isset() you can use as a snippet parameter name
"He can have a lollipop any time he wants to. That's what it means to be a programmer."
Hi,
on the resultpage i´ve got an extra search-form which i don´t want. Anybody who have an idea how i can fix dis. The HFSF realease ist 2r4.
Thanks, Alex
From the available snippet parameters that I posted above, you see that using &FSF_showForm=`0` in the snippet call, you can hide the search form. So in the results page, use that.

Hi,
is it possible to limit the the HyperFlexSearch to single folders?
best regards, Alex
Hi,
You can use the parameters "parentSearch" and "parentSearchMode" :
- "parentSearch" will contain the comma-separated list of folders IDs you want to search in
- set "parentSearchMode" to 1 to include the specified list
Thanks a lot, i will try. But i´m running HyperFlexSearch 1.41 with MODx Vers. 0.92, is this a problem?
regards, alex
Hi Everybody,
Im really sorry for asking this "not new" question but work Í tried for an hour now and Im not making any progress.
First, do I get this right:
With the parentSearch I can search just within a special folder with all his children?
If Yes, then..
why do I still get Results from a different Folder which is only for logged users?
[!HyperFlexSearchForm? &FSF_landing=`79` &FSF_showResults=`0` $parentSearch=`2` $parentSearchMode=`1`!]
It would be frustrating for other people to get results listet, that are not visible form them.
Thank you for helping
