[SOLVED? not really!] FormIt 1.7.0 with Revolution 2.1.1-pl not working

Just tried FormIt 1.7.0 with Revolution 2.1.1-pl and can’t get it working.

Is it just me being dumb or has anyone else had problems

I got it working, but I have no idea how.

I just added and removed the variables from the [[!FormIt ]] call and eventually it worked

I could not recreate the problem.

While trying to solve the problem I tried modifying the FormIt snippet but nothing I added seemed to do anything, I couldn’t even break it by typing junk!

So it seemed that the snippet wasn’t being used so I tried altering
core/components/formit/elements/snippets/snippet.formit.php
but that also seemed to have no effect!!

How can I be sooooo dumb? Where is the FormIt code being run from ??

Doesn’t work if in a template it is used [[*photo:is=``:then=`[[$CONTENT_nonFOTO]]`:else=`[[$CONTENT]]`]]
If in a kind [[$CONTENT_nonFOTO]]all working
