formit and custom db tables, possible??

Despite not being a developer/programmer, I mostly understand Bob’s Guides’ site on this topic:
http://bobsguides.com/custom-db-tables.html

Can this be done using Formit to obtain the data to be stored??
If so, how??

Thank you, Tom

see the formit2db-thread for a start.

Thank you, I searched formit2db-thread and formit2db but I get no hits??
