[SOLVED]How do i get clean FORMIT error messages?

Hi,

i’m using the Formit plugin 1.7 (REVO2.1.2). every error message is coming back as <span class="error">errormessage</span>.
I mat the error message to diplay in the value propertie of the input field. Obviously this wont work with the HTML arounf the error.
How can i get rid of this?

PS / featurerequest: would be nice if this was easy to toggle on and off with a &cleanErrors = `1`

edit: I added &errTpl=`[[+error]]` to the snippet call
