I am trying to create a website that enables a user to register and become a webuser and then input text and images to effectively create their own separate "pages". However I do not want a new resource for each instance of data and image entered. These pages can then be visible to other visitors to the site but can only be edited by the site administrator and webuser who entered the information. It needs to be able to upload images and store them in a unique folder (created on the server when a webuser registers) so that if another webuser uploaded an image with the same name the original image would not be over-written.
Is eForm together with eForm2db the best solution for this so that data is sent and retrieved to and from fields in a database, with a link in a database field to the image location, thus eliminating the need for a separate resource for each set of data per webuser and also providing the ability to search for keywords in the each webuser’s "page"?
Or is there another solution within the vast range of extras within Modx. I have looked at Ditto but this does not appear to give what I envisage. Help would be appreciated as I have searched the forums but not identified anything yet.
