eForm working in Modx Revolution?

Hello,

I’m really new to modx, although I have read a lot in wiki, documentation and forums.

I try to use the eForm snippet in my MODx Revolution 2.0.4-pl2 installation, but it doesn’t work. (I use: eForm 1.4.4.5 - Electronic Form Snippet)
In frontend there is no form displayed. Only the snippet call code appears - like:

[!eForm? &formid=`EmailForm` &subject=`[+subject+]` &to=`[email protected]` &ccsender=`1` &tpl=`ContactForm` &report=`ContactReport` &gotoid=`1` !]

Now I wonder, if eForm works at Revolution or only the Evolution in general?

eForm is for Evolution, I think Formit is the one for Revolution.

I currently test FormIt und SPForm if they match my criteria.

Is it planned to develop eForm snippet for MODX Revolution in future?

FormIt is better and easier to use than eForm and currently supported directly by one of the MODx team member (splittingred).

eForm is old and not actively supported (just patched if needed but no more feature), and will not be ported to Revolution.

Indeed, I like the concept behind FormIt better; it complicates eForm a great deal to have to actually generate the form from a chunk tpl, although that does make AJAX based forms a lot more convenient.
