I am new to this, I have searched every forum. I almost get the answer. Something like ViewPort, or widget, but no simple answer to a simple question.
Example- you have a link on your menu that sends you directly to a Forum (smf). I installed smf. How did you make the "Forum" link send your directly to www.yoursite.com/forum/index.php?
The best I can do is a page with a clickable link using a chunk.

    thanks.

thanks.. right in front of me. menu bar, content, new weblink.

put in the url for smf

to get back to modx, login to smf, template’s settings, the link at the top- modify index template, scroll way down, find the href for the "home" button, replace $scripturl with http://www. where-ever-modx is. This will get you back to modx from smf. Is that right?
