eform submit, no action, just page reload

hi there,
I currently have to face a strange behaviour -- first time with the very nice and well documented snippet eform (1.4.4.6).

I used it very often for different forms and hosts, but this time simply nothing happens after submitting the mail form.

so I searched the forum, tried out the debug mode (just showing the snippet call params), checked out the post vars in Firebug, tried the isMail/isSMTP and wrote a snippet that sends me propperly some mails using mail(...).

the only difference I can figure out was the elder PHP version 4.4.8 (using sendmail)

any feedback/hints?

Are you sure the snippet is called uncached? [!eForm? ... !]

yes, I’m very sure... (just lazy copying code from another working form and changing email addy for testing):

Are you sure the id on your form corresponds to

I never take a look of this, ’cause this time is the first time I’ve got more than one contact form.
