I have a text area that is marked Required.

eForm is correctly adding the "required" CSS class. It is also correctly validating such types as ’integer’ and ’date’ (the above example uses html, which is the preferred format).
BUT, it is not checking if the field is empty.
When I submit the form, the name of the textarea is not included in the list of fields that are required.
Also, if I fill out all the other required fields and leave the textarea empty, the form will submit successfully.
