    Hi all

    I have a strange Problem. My Report Form uses the Site Name as sender. When I set &from to `[+email+]` then it sends Site Name <"[+email+]"@domain.info>

    Any Idea?

    Thanks a lot

      Can you clarify... you want the report to have [’site name’]@domain.info> as the sender?
      or do you want the report/email to give you... &from = [+email+]

      BTW You can set the $from name into eform.inc.php like this
      below line no.. 518

      $mail->From = $fields[’email’];
      $mail->FromName = $fields[’name’]; // you might need to change this in several places...

      Make sure you are using those exact field values in your form... ie <input name="email" id=" eform= etc>

      Here is a post on attaching several of emails to a $bcc .... http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,40482.msg245095.html#msg245095

      Have you read the documentation that comes with Eform, here is a quick cheat sheet,
      see this post.... http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,42002.html

      Hope this Helps!

        Hi paulhomebus

        for sure I have checked the wicki and the cheat sheet, which is great by the way.

        Well in my form I ask the sender for his email address like
        <dl>
        	<dt><label for="email" accesskey="e">E-Mail Adresse*</label></dt>
        		<dd><input type="text" name="email" size="40" maxlength="40" eform="E-Mail Adresse:email:1" id="email" /></dd>
        </dl>

        in the report form it is transmitted like

         <td>[+email+]</td>

        which is also properly giving me the email address of the form sender. I would like to have this same address in the report email in the header to:[email protected] ! But there I get the name from the [+site_name+] and <&from> in this. In my Opinion there should only be the form senders email address.

        Tanks a lot.

          You may be running up against a clash between eForm and PHx. Try &from=`((email))`

          See thread at http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php?topic=35741.0

            Hi all

            I am back to that topic now.

            in my opinion it should be possible to have the site_name and the site_email in the &automessage
            and the sendermail and the sender_name in the report email, then this would make sense to both recipients.

            Is there a way to achieve this?

            @kp52
            when I use &from=`((email))` I get [+email+] returned in the &automessage

            thanks for your help
