    I tried to use placeholders in eform and was not really successful. I found the following post:

    http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,33194.0.html

    which was pecisely the answer to my troubles. Now it works fine.

    Now as follow up: How abaout placeholders in the thankyou-chunk? I tried ((name)) as in the snippet call and [+name+] as in the report junk. But in the thankyou message neither seem to work.

    Is this true or do I make a silly error? Is there possibly any solution to this?

      I had the same problem and searched in vain for a solution. I ended up manually declaring the placeholders I wanted to use as:

      $modx->setPlaceholder('POST_DATE', $fields[postdate]);

      or
      $modx->setPlaceholder('ROLE', $dbTable[rfRole]);

      but I’d much rather have access to the placeholder values without having to specifically assign them. Any ideas?
