I ran into an issue sending an eForm to an email which was set up to be received through Google Apps. Finally, after some testing, I got it to work and thought I would share the steps in case someone else runs into the issue with Google Apps. The following steps includes using the cPanel under the condition that the MX record is pointing to Google Apps.

    1. Go to cPanel > MX Entry and uncheck the box that says "Always accept mail locally even if the primary mx does not point to this server." for the MX record "aspmx.l.google.com"
    2. Log into the website’s modx manager and go to Tools > Configurations > Users and add a valid email address with that sites’ domain
    3. Make sure that you that $mail->IsMail(); and NOT $mail->IsSMTP(); in your ’eform.inc.php’ file.
    4. Add the same email from step 2 to the ’var $From’ in the ’class.phpmailer.php’ file.

    That should do it.

It is wrong to love you? Because, I do. I just spent around 2 hours and couldn’t get it to work, finally came across your post and voila! Solution! There’s no telling how many hours longer it would have taken for me to figure that out...
