Validating Maximum Character Lengh on Textareas

Hi All,

I’m looking to use eform to validate the maximum allowed characters in a textarea. I’ve looked around at the documentation on validation and haven’t come across anything on setting a max character limit. Here was an attempt but it doesn’t seem to recognize the number (perhaps it takes a custom function):
