I hope someone can explain this to me, because it’s driving me batty.

In my snippet call during testing I was using my own email address ie. [email protected], at this stage, everything is working 100%

Once I was happy with the form, I changed the to parameter to [email protected], now when I hit submit, eform thinks about things for a little bit and then presents me with a blank page.

If I change the email back, it all starts working again.

Can anyone give me some clues on where the problem might lie?

I think you need to ask your host about it. There must be some restrictions on their part. (shared hosts usually do)

spot on zi, thanks for your help.

turns out, that even though my mail is hosted by a third party, they still had a mail service running on my server. they’ve now disabled the mail service and all is working.
