I’m using SPForm on a site I’m developing for a client. The would like to be able to update the contact list from time to time. I don’t think I want them to edit the contacts.cfg.php file directly.

Can I create a doc in the manager document tree that would update the file?

    How should I approach this?

Your question is not quite in the right forum since it has nothing to do with eForm -- but, In theory, you could have a document that held the contact list and have a plugin that would save the list to the contacts file when the document was saved. I’ve never done it, but it should work.

BTW, in the Revolution version of SPForm, the contact list is in the properties grid of the SPForm snippet rather than in a file.

        Thanks BobRay

I figured it was doable--in theory. I’ve never written anything like that. Not sure I would know how to. I’ll have to add it to my list of things to learn.
