I just managed to get a basic eForm contact form working on a site I am building via MODx 0.9.6.3 (I followed the ’general purpose feedback form’ example that ships with the snippet). The form is basically working well, however, although the the [+Name+] placeholder is in the code, the name of the individual filling out the form never displays; it does not display in the email that is sent; it does not display in the ’thanks’ that loads after the form is submitted. Not quite sure how to troubleshoot this. (Again, I essentially just took the code from the example).

    Any tips would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Check the casing in the form template and reports... I seem to remember there was a typo in the examples with "name" and "Name". Perhaps that’s bothering you.

Bingo -- got it. It was a casing issue. There are actually a couple of casing issues in that example. I think I have caught all of them now. Would be great to have those corrected in the documentation.

        Anyway, thanks so much Toby.
