Please - has any one got any suggestions?
If you see the code but your input is not accepted, it usually means one of two things. Either the $_SESSION variable that holds the CAPTCHA code is not persisting or the user’s input isn’t getting to the code that checks the validity of the input.
Hi BobRay,
I see the code, type in the correct digits, but my input is not accepted.
How to I go about implementing some of your suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

I’m afraid they aren’t really suggestions, just guesses at what might be going wrong. I’m not that familiar with eForm. Hopefully someone who knows it better will chime in.
Thanks for your response BobRay.
Anybody else want to chime in?
I believe the problem will be solved by adjusting the code in your snippet call.
If you remove the &vericode=`1` tag in your snippet call, that should fix the problem
ModX. 'nuff said.
I don’t think that turning off the verification code system can be construed as a solution.
My symptoms are identical: I can see the image, I can see the captcha code, but it never works. I can read and type.
I’ve tried clearing the cache etc.
No joy.

Just for diagnostic purposes, you might try installing SPForm and turning on its CAPTCHA to see if it works.
