How do I make fields optional?

How would I turn the required element off?

"Your name:" into "First name:" and "Last name:"

Can I simply copy "Your name" code and rename it to last name?
Will it make data connection with database automatically?
Just build your form as you would in pure html an add the eform attribute where needed. ( so yes you could just copy and paste and then rename the name field. )
eForm doesn’t do anything with a database so I’m not sure why you’re asking... read the documentation for eform before you start...
