    Hmm, I ran into a strange issue today. I copied and pasted a form which had some <SELECT> fields. My form wasn’t working properly and I saw in the html output that eForm was changing the select into an input.

    Changed code example:
    <input NAME="location" value="" />
    <OPTION VALUE="" selected>
    <OPTION VALUE="maarssen">Maarssen
    <OPTION VALUE="hth">Huis ter Heide
    </SELECT>

    After some trial and error I figured out that I could resolve it by changing SELECT into lower case whereby select now stays as select. Only the opening select was changed by eForm.

    I’m posting this because I’m guessing this is an eForm micro-bug.

      maybe offpost but you should never use uppercase

        eForm is particular about the casing in form tags and if unrecognised defaults to input. That’s what’s been happening to your form. As xpix said simply do not use upper case in tags.

        The behaviour of eForm in this case is wrong however and I’ll make note of that. However if I make a correction it will be in teh form of an error message and it will still not allow upper case tags.

          Right you are, I should have paid better attention to what I was copying and pasting.
