Is there a way to set up workflow on this form? For example, the user fills out the form and it is sent. The recipient gets a notification to look at the form in the cms and when they ’approve’ it, it will publish to a webpage.

    Thanks,

No, certainly not out of the box. eForm is designed to be a simple form handler which emails results. It does not store the posted data anywhere. Any additional functionality is added with eform’s event structure by various users (eform2db is a good example). What you want is certainly possible, although I’m not sure the current eForm is the best vehicle for this, but you’d need to get your hands dirty and get coding. As far as I know nobody has done this yet.

        Thanks,

I am working on something similar except the part with "publish to web page" which I’m sure it cam be achieved easily using Modx APIs.

It’s a form that users have to fill. At submit the form is saved in a custom table(using eform2db), also a notification is sent. To access the information I created a module that reads the custom table.
For now you can only view the info but I’m sure a Publish button can be added easily.

Let me know if this is what you want and we can chat on it.
