I think I’m going crazy
In order to get my MODx sites to validate when I had a & in the Menu Title, I made it &. For the past couple of months that worked fine. Now, when I enter that, it changes back to just plain &. Not a big deal except that it makes my site not have that bright green XHTML validation checkmark.
So, I enter:
I save and re-open the page for editing and I see:
Any ideas, and can anybody duplicate this behavior one way or the other? Personally, I’d love to see the Menu Title field not have a limit on the number of characters, and either intelligently make & into &, or leave & alone (like I swear it used to do!).
(Incidentally, sticking & in the Title or Long Title fields works fine and does not change back to &. What’s up with the Menu Title?)
