    Why if I use the integer data type like this <input type="text" name="code" maxlength="4" eform="Access Code:integer:1" />
the number is changed from Eg: 5678 to 5,678. By default it should be 5678.

If I need a special kind of format I will do it myself.

Let me know about the pros and cons.

    Thank You

Because nobody has been so annoying to ask that question before smiley

But seriously. eForm has grown from a very simple email form handler and it still contains much of the earliest code. The problem with values in the current version is that there is no difference in received values and any formatted results for email reports. The version I’m working on will keep all values as is (meaning raw php data types) and have the option to format values when required. How numbers are formatted in that case can be set in the configuration.

Until then you’re stuck with it or you can change it in eform.inc.php

        Thx Toby,

I was puzzled when I saw those values in the database. It took a while to figure it out.
Anyway it does not matter, I use the field as char and use my custom function to check it.

Glad to hear that the next version will have all the improvements.
