I’m having trouble getting eForm to work properly.

After following the tutorial I kept getting the "Could not instantiate mail function." error.

To solve that I simply removed the multiple to address and put only one in it’s place.

Now it sends the form to my inbox, but there are still more problems.

    1) After the form is submitted I get the following error on screen: "Document or chunk not found for template id= ’eFeedbackThanks"
    2) The email message that comes through says it’s from "[email protected]" no mater what email address I type in the form.
    3) The resulting message is also missing the Name field result.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to solve these issues?
    Thanks.

      1. Make sure your chunk eFeedbackThanks is spelled the same way as when you created it - I had the same problem until i saw I had the wrong case - eFeedBackThanks isn’t the same as eFeedbackThanks.

      2. In the Modx Manager interface, check Tools > Configuration > User, and look for the Email address field. It defaults to [email protected]

      3. Not sure why it would be missing the Name field without seeing all the code.

        Thanks motoxer4533.

You were right, there are some errors in the code provided in the eform_examples.htm file that is distributed with the modxcms 0.9.6.2 package (I have not check any other packages, but I have attached an updated version with the corrections made).

This fixes the "eFeedbackThanks" issue (it’s missing the "B" in the provided example).
This fixes the missing "Name" field issue (it is mistakenly provided as "Name" in the form code, when it should be "name").

Edit: I also re-read the snippet parameters and found &from, &replyto just what I needed.
